There are others, who a good antiperspirant would work on, but they're allergic to some of the chemicals used in them to block your pores and stop the sweat; but there could be a simple solution. 
The answer could be to use talcum powder instead of an antiperspirant. The talcum powder is going to help to prevent the embarrassing odors, and it will absorb the sweat. You may have to shave under your armpits, to make sure that you cover all of the skin, and this will apply to men, too.
